Sometimes, Roll with the Punches before Final Edit
While putting final touches on page five, for example, I put the page on a windowsill, so that page was secure while the ink was drying. I walked into another room for a brief moment. Upon my return, I learned that my cat climbed up to the windowsill and threw up on the page. This page (and the other pages) originally were all hand lettered. It was at this point that I ended up using a collage method, with printed text pasted on top of the lettering. (And cleaning off hand drawn, inked pages is super messy and unpleasant. I learned a lot from this situation). Ultimately refusing to abandon the project, or start over, I rolled with the punches, finishing no matter what.
