Step Three: Putting Text to Visuals

At this phase, sometimes illustrators use thumbnail sketches to outline their project. For this particular project, my thumbnails were illegible for anyone else's viewing. Sometimes that's part of the creative process. (If needed, I could produce thumbnails to show the project's progress). Putting text and pictorials together, this project used hand-written lettering, collage, pencils, and ink. This project varied hand lettering with collage, taking printed typed lettering and glueing it to the pages.
