Step Two: Visual Storytelling

Making pictorial form, without text. This project began as pencils and moved into hand inking. On this page, there are four panels separated by whimsical borders. The border work uses various techniques, such as colorful shapes with different background colors, sometimes complimentary, and other times, random. The hatching and varying dot sizes are in black ink. This project incorporated spot blacks in large quantities, often as background contrast.
